Digital Marketing Manager

As a Digital Marketing Manager, you’ll be responsible for defining, executing, and owning the digital marketing strategy. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring partnership with fellow marketers and teammates in the product, product marketing, sales, solution engineering, and more. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth culture. We're still a young team, so
each member plays an integral role in building the foundation of our marketing organization.

This position will be based in our Palo Alto, CA office. Currently, Orbital Insight is fully remote (working from home) until at least the end of the year, due to COVID.


  • Design, implement and improve comprehensive marketing programs across several digital channels including web, SEO, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns optimizing for lead and pipeline generation
  • Develop & execute a recurring demand generation plan working closely with the sales team; continually optimize, discover, and expand digital marketing efforts
  • Monitor KPIs and leverage analytics tools to identify trends and perform optimization
  • Oversee paid budget and performance for all paid advertising channels
  • Provide guidance and oversight to the broader marketing team on digital advertising strategy, tactics, best practices, contract negotiation, operations, and reporting
  • Work with Marketing leadership to communicate campaign performance, determine budgets, goal setting, ROI metrics, and strategies
  • Manage end to end process of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including email, SEO/SEM, paid social and webinars
  • Own the deliverables, deadlines, and measurement of email/marketing automation campaigns in digital marketing tools to drive usage, conversion, retention, and revenue
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, marketing or related field
  • Experienced in landing page optimization, ad creation, and A/B testing to drive conversion improvements
  • Marketing automation experience (HubSpot or others) and campaign management tools required
  • Ability and desire to be agile in campaign development, execution, and delivery of results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand data sources, data mapping, campaign logic, and campaign performance (ROI analysis and recommendations)
  • Knows how to manage multiple complex projects & priorities, iterate, and learn quickly to optimize campaigns
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience managing B2B marketing campaigns/programs, paid search and paid social accounts 
  • Strong hands-on experience with marketing tech stacks including HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, AdWords, CMS, lead nurturing, landing page, and SEO 
  • Practical knowledge and understanding of Google/Microsoft/LinkedIn Ad tools, strategies, and best practices for search and display
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; bias towards data-based decision making
  • Advanced Google Analytics, UTM, and Tag Manager Experience, advanced excel experience in data manipulation, analysis, and reporting
