Proposal Manager

Public Sector

Full-time

Description

Orbital Insight’s mission is to understand what we’re doing on, and to, the Earth. This includes all of the economic and social trends that impact us. In order to see these details and work at scale, we leverage advanced computer vision and machine learning techniques at scale. Many of our customers use our platform in large critical applications which require integration work and, in some cases, advances within the platform.

To support our more advanced and complex government proposals, Orbital Insight is looking for an experienced Technical Proposal Writer. In this role, you will be in charge of coordinating with internal stakeholders on priorities, scope, feasibility, and timelines for our proposal development activities in support of our Public Sector business. She/he will be responsible for Orbital Insight’s proposal development and approval process and will serve as the primary interface between internal stakeholders, working with the team to develop creative and compelling proposals for complex government requirements and resolving any issues as they arise. At Orbital Insight we value unique perspectives. As such, we are open to unorthodox backgrounds that have led to an impressive acumen in the development of customer-facing documentation.

The role requires meticulous attention to detail, bias to action, and ability to prioritize while working on multiple external deadlines.

This position will be based in our Arlington, VA office. Currently, Orbital Insight is fully remote (working from home) until at least the end of the year. Later, we will adapt a hybrid model with flexibility.
